A few test shots from my newly acquired Olympus XA. And also a couple of frames from the Rolleiflex which I neglected too much this year.

The first frame, DM Paradies 400

Love how small and inconspicuous the XA is

And quite sharp for such a little lens

Tried out the flash, not too fond of the results, this turned out alright

any tips for scanning colour negs?
Haha, yes that one is from a local clothing brand ^^. I only scanned the 35mm frames and the first 3 photos of the Rolleiflex shots myself, you can see that the colors are a bit all over the place. Didn’t have the nerves to do more, so sent the rest to the lab. I really don’t know how to scan color correctly and don’t want to spend hours with PS…
Thank you.
Again you intrigue me with your vision of your world…. don’t stop!!!!
i really love the ‘Met these two from Singapore at the canal’ thanks to the lovely light. Also the sharpness of the image alongwith the details in the black coat of the lady on the right hand side are superb.
The portrait of the lady sitting cross-legged is also well composed. Love the multi-hued backdrop against the black outfit of the lady. The highlights on her face dont look blown out. Aah the dynamic range of film!
Finally the last image = mindblowing!
Always a pleasure to stop by your blog:)
Hey, those are brilliant pics. Especially the school-yard and the last-sunrays ones. Love the colours on all of them but have a question about B/W film: any tips on a good B/W one for a Rolleiflex? Got the camera but am a newbie in the analog world and appreciate any help from the people in the know:)
Keep them coming:)
Thanks and congrats on the Rolleiflex, it’s an amazing camera. Try Tri-X or if you’d like something slower Fuji Acros 100, Foto Impex stocks both. Let me know if you have any more questions! Cheers, K
Some really lovely images. I enjoyed them a lot.
Thanks!
I like so much your photos! They have a kinda of special luminosity!
